WINE COLLECTIONS FOR YOUR YACHT
Each year as we approach the yachting season we are often asked: can you enjoy
your favourites like Lafite, Petrus or Romanee Conti on the yacht as one would
at home?
The fact is that many fine wines are ruined by the motion of yachts at sea, and
the challenge is to identify those that can tolerate such conditions without
deterioration.
We have assembled a recommended selection of fine wine yacht
collections which aim to add a local flavour to the ultimate cruising
experience.
Our collections include some of the finest wines of France, Italy and Spain.
They are perfect for cruising around the Cote d’Azur, Italian Riviera and the Balearics,
and are ideal for the unique storage and serving conditions presented by
the yachting experience.
There are some important issues to consider, and we
provide expert advice and recommendations in a short video presented by Stephen
Williams, managing director of The Antique Wine Company and produced by Azur TV.
